Pictures
So he threw away a pic of the ex wife from his parents house. Apart from creeping the hell out of me because of some saka shit she has (dunno what saka is? google it!), it is also very inappropriate.
But he recently threw it out. He didn't want to at first because it is not his house (it is his mum's and he needed to ask her permission). I wasn't very happy I have to admit. I might have ranted about it. But anyways, he recently did.
So I am happy.
I know it is very selfish of me, but honestly, who would want to visit a significant other's parents' house and see all that? Nevermind that it may not mean anything, but it is only appropriate to remove such pictures.
I'm glad that my ex MIL removed the wedding photos from the walls of the house. Some of the wedding photos were works of art of you asked me, a proper production from one of my friends in Jakarta, a film director. Now I will never see them again. No one will see them again.
Which is the right thing to do nonetheless. When a chapter is closed, keep it closed. Don't bring the remnants over to your current relationship. Remove all traces, pictures are the worst because faces and memories were in it.
Remove pictures of your ex from your Facebook photo albums, profile pictures. That's what I did. I removed all pictures, removed tags from pictures that were not mine. I had to go through thousands of images. Was sickening because there were so many, but when that was done...the relief was tremendous.
At one point I thought of paying someone to do it for me. But I didn't want to give anyone free rein to my account. The freedom I felt after was worth the hours going cross eyed just doing that.
I don't know why some people would want to keep pictures of people who have hurt them, who have left them, who don't even love them. It's not your family, or your friend. What do they still hope to gain? If it's for a short time after the breakup, then maybe it's acceptable. But after that, it's stupid. Shouldn't you have moved on already?
It's just bad vibes to keep around I think. Also creepy.
