Robbed in dreams and the jinx

I dreamed I was robbed last night. Not like mugged or someone broke into the house or anything. What I remembered was: I opened my wallet and my money's gone. So are my bank cards. And the feeling of panic that someone's taken my money.

Then I woke up.

So I checked this dream interpretation site this morning. Apparently if you dream you're robbed you're having an identity crisis or experiencing some sort of loss. If you dream of losing your money, it means that in your waking life you have low self-esteem, low ambition and power, and that you may also be feeling weak, vulnerable and out of control.

My blood froze a little bit, because they are...ummm, sort of true. I don't know why but lately I've felt like all I want to do is disappear. I don't feel like working (even though I have to and it does make a welcome distraction), I'm not even looking forward to this weekend (my birthday).

There is a part of me that seems to have already given up, it's as if all I wanna do is hide and not be around other people.

Things that I might have found funny irritates me. Like yesterday, sarcastic bitchy comments from someone made me retaliate with an even bitchier come back. Usually I will just laugh it off. But somehow it irritated me so much I was thinking, why does this sour person even bother trying to be friends with me when all you do is ridicule me.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I've gotten some reverse predictions based on my father's amazing ability to jinx football matches. So this Friday July 2nd (eh, that's tomorrow), we will be the quarterfinals clashes between Brazil and Netherlands/ Holland (actually are they Netherlands or Holland?; Why are they called Holland anyways, since their people calls it Nederland, who the fuck came up with Holland?) and Uruguay vs Ghana. My father's supporting Brazil and Ghana.

Naturally, if the jinx is still in place and if my father declares support for any team - you support the opposite. Because usually the teams he supports will lose. Even the strong ones. And for Saturday's matches - his picks are Argentina and Spain. Two strong teams. It would be fantastic if the opposing team Paraguay actually kicked Spanish ass, as it's a nearly impossible task. But Germany beating Argentina is not at all impossible, Argentina has weaknesses that can be easily exploited (plus, Tevez opened his big mouth and mentioned that Germany is not as good as Mexico, while Klose said Argentina is a class above England; karma likes humility).

And also, what would support my father's reverse predictions are: Paul the Octopus predicted a Germany win.

It would be great if for once, the jinx is broken.
