Ramble ramble in the jungle

I feel so frickin exhausted today. Had a photo shoot for a pretty big beer job yesterday and was busy running around preparing from last weekend. Somehow managed to squeeze a bit of yoga time on Monday night and woke up all bubbly (and probably annoyingly so) on shoot day yesterday. Hopefully tonight's yoga session will help create the same effect for tomorrow. And hopefully I will get to attend it!

Had to send back the guitars used in yesterday's shoot to the shop this morning, and as usual got lost again. I should just save myself the trouble and precious time
and get myself a Garmin. After an hour plus getting stuck in one traffic jam after another, wrong turns and the heat seeping in through the car window, even the silly banter in the radio doesn't seem so amusing anymore.

Friend of mine said better go to Kula Shaker's show in KL next month rather than Slash's show. Don't matter not a big fan of either, don't mind going to either as well. Was hoping the dates didn't clash so could go to both, but oh well, you can't have everything. Anyway, I checked out the Kula Shaker event page on FB and this dude wrote on the wall:

Tengku Aliff Fikri hehe. malaya got kula shaker and singapore got ian brown and the vines. dua2 5 august 2010

I don't know how old is this dude, but we haven't been Malaya since the 60s. And since he's not attending the Kula Shaker show here what's he doing blabbing on the event page. I mean, dude, you get fined for everything in Singapore. The place sucks ass! Seriously man. I don't know how anyone could live there without getting cabin fever and wanting to kill everyone. That guy is such a dumbass. The worst kind - the show offy kind.

I think I may count myself as a pretty patriotic person, when I need to be. I may bitch about the country, about everything here and wish I'm a million miles away, living elsewhere, but honestly...I've lived in 2 other countries and they're nothing to shout about. Home is the best. That's why it angers me when a foreigner dares to put down my country or even when a local decide to "vote with their feet" and say "goodbye Malaysia, I'll come back when you're a first world country".

I mean if you wanna go, say for financial or career reasons or you have a white boyfriend reason (sniggers), or you think everything foreign is better reason (eg. the climate, the lifestyle, the fashion, the food - you gotta be joking if you say food) - just go. Don't gimme some bullshit reason about how this isn't a first world country with a first world mentality. By the way, a first world country sometimes have 3rd world mentality too! If they don't we won't be hearing about how Muslims = terrorists, for example.

Oops gotta run.
