The Proust Questionnaire
So I visited my favourite fashion blog today and this was one of her more recent posts:

"I now urge all of you to take a look at the Proust Questionnaire, re-purposed below, and to share whatever answers you’d like to. It is unassumingly therapeutic to project such raw honesty." - Leandra Medine
And raw honesty is one thing I do well. Especially in a blog I make sure nobody really reads.
Your favorite virtue.
Loyalty. Though historically I am not someone who has much of it.
Your favorite qualities in a man.
He has to be intelligent, hardworking, responsible, loyal, affectionate, humble and fun. And smells nice.
Your favorite qualities in a woman.
Intelligence, a rock & roll sense of the world, humbleness and radiates love. And funny. I love funny girls.
Your favorite occupation.
Fiction writer. I think fiction writers have the best job in the world. Nevermind the psychosis.
Unfortunately it's not my occupation.
Your chief characteristic.
I am real. I never fake my emotions or my thoughts or actions. It's gotten me into a lot of trouble, it has also gotten me nowhere, but it has given me much happiness in return.
Your idea of happiness.
Being with my beloved, seeing the world, living, feeling and hearing new experiences and doing what I am passionate about for money. It's not too much to ask for right?
Your idea of misery.
Living a life I didn't want. Cooking. Buying things to compensate for a sad lonely life.
Your favorite color and flower.
I love bright colours. But red stands out the most. I don't have a favourite flower. They are all pretty.
If not yourself, who would you be?
A self-proclaimed philosopher living in a hippie commune near the ocean. A traveler of the world, never holding a steady job, away from responsibilities. A writer hermit, living alone in a bohemian style apartment with her cats.
Where would you like to live?
Anywhere; where my heart is. Kuala Lumpur is a wonderful city, full of growth. Full of stories. We are a city with many things to say and express.
Your favorite prose authors.
I love Murakami. I love Atwood. I love many writers, some of whom I've only read one work or two. one of my favourite things is to read the works of new first time authors.
Your favorite poets.
Haven't read enough to have a favourite.
Your favorite painters and composers.
I love the work of Salvador Dali, but once upon a time I mentioned that to someone and was snapped at: But he was a fascist!
I don't know enough of modern painters to have a favourite.
Composers? I enjoy musicians who perform the music they composed themselves. So there.
Your favorite heroes in real life.
My father. My brother. My quarter.
Your favorite heroines in real life.
My mother. My sister.
Your favorite heroes in fiction.
Pi from Life of Pi (just saw the movie as well). Glenn and Carl from The Walking Dead. Shadow from American Gods. Eric Northman from True Blood.
Your favorite heroines in fiction.
Lisbeth Salander from the Millenium trilogy. Clarisse from Fahrenheit 451. N from Poppy Shakespeare.
Your favorite food and drink.
Nando's chicken. Indian food. Mediterranean food. Malay food. Pastas. Grilled food. Fresh seafood (hardly get to eat this).
Anything with caffeine and causes diabetes or mild loopyness.
Your favorite names.
Shahid. :p
Your pet aversion.
Fake people / Hypocrites. People who stink of bad BO.
What characters in history do you most dislike?
Does he have to be real? Or a myth? Hang Tuah.
What is your present state of mind?
Clear. Active. Reading and doing twenty things at the same time, including this.
For what fault have you most toleration?
Forgetfulness.
Your favorite motto.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not. - Kurt Cobain
This pretty much sums up what I am like.
