It's not the end of the world
Today's favourite topic and biggest joke in the history of modern civilisation - the end of the world on 21st December 2012. There are so many things written about it, from the banal to the insane. And despite assurances from governments, NASA, experts and people with faith and common sense, there are those who still believe that something bad could really happen on this day.
Last year when the hype started, I did google about it, and like many information on the net, there are those that makes my blood turn cold, and those scared the hell out of me.
But then I still have my faith, and my faith says: You will never know when exactly the world will end. Also because if a planet is on collision course with us, we'd have seen it already. If a major natural disaster is about to happen, won't it already be happening? And won't the animals go mad? (read up on strange animal behaviour before natural disasters).
Anyway. I will never know. We all will never know.
But let's just say you live in a world that is about to end, what would be your last actions? Your last words?
For me, I have a list (in bullet points but they are not necessarily in order):

For me, I have a list (in bullet points but they are not necessarily in order):
- Spend time with my beloved.
- Spend time with my family.
- Have a long heart to heart with my sister who is in the UK.
- Get married. Throw a ridiculously lavish wedding party.
- Not finish doing my damn claims.
- Bring my cat to the place I'm living at now, cuddle him and let him scratch all the furniture to his heart's content.
- Quit my job.
- Eat all my favourite foods and drink and smoke like a chimney and fuck the gym man, fuck the gym.
- Have a picnic on the balcony and watch the world collapse slowly (I'm sure there will be riots and people jumping off buildings).
- Throw a dinner party where I will cook.
- Write my last Facebook statuses and Twitter tweets - saying goodbye to my online friends and acquaintances.
- Spend all the money I have - in savings and retirement fund.
- Pray.
:)
