Surviving early Ramadhan and sister's A Levels results
Nothing much happening except I have survived the first 2 days of Ramadhan without any pain, suffering and homicidal feelings. I even went for yoga last night after break fast. See, you're not supposed to eat at least 3 hours before yoga or drink at least 1 hour before. But because it's Ramadhan I had to ignore that rule, risk throwing up during practise and cramps and I actually ate half an hour before.
And guess what? Nothing terrible happened. Maybe it's because I only had a sandwich, but I dunno. I didn't throw up or get cramps. My sister almost fainted however, but I don't think it was because of eating before exercising. So I'm concluding that if it's a light meal it's alright to eat before exercising.
Speaking of my sister, she got her A Levels results yesterday, she did well, above her expectations she said, and met her uni of choice's requirements. Some of her close friends didn't do well however...Anyway, it looks like little sis will be going of far, far away for her studies and it will happen like next month! I feel happy for her but sad at the same time that she's going to be so far away.
At the same time I felt a bit envious to be honest. She's going to get to travel Europe during her breaks. :)
How time flies.
