Guess who's back.

After 7 years I am here again, to share my life, my thoughts, my rants, my opinions and all sorts of nonsense to my audience of none.

A lot has happened since my last post in October 2013. I will tackle that in another post, chronicle what I've been up to. Shock you a little, maybe bore you a lot.

A few things:

1. I thought of writing again on this blog after I stumbled upon it's URL while scrolling my Facebook profile's 'About', checking my privacy settings. For some reason, this is listed there but for nobody to see except for me.
2. I have felt stifled by my switch to Twitter, a place I thought could be a little microblog, with my bite-sized stream of thoughts, but no...it started to get ugly, toxic, full of hate and bullying and I am guilty of engaging in it. 
3. I am also guilty of having in my digital life those I don't even like, but are too afraid to remove - out of fear of reprisal. There are very few friends really, but a lot of snoops.
4.  Thinking about the header above this blog, about how I will peek here for sanity, I think I might as well take my advice - it is tiring to self censor and watch what I say all the time or to have people pick arguments or be patronising. Here, I can just delete your irritating comments. 
5. This is also another way to wean myself off Twitter, and not be a part of the conversation. I'm just tired. 
6. In those years I went missing Blogspot has thankfully decided to fix its mobile view. It looks better now.
7. Why the fuck is my ex still following me on here, and how do I get rid of him? If he reads this, oh hello, can you remove yourself please?
