The open letter

To the love of my life,

I'm sorry. I say that in all humbleness and from the very bottom of my heart. I hope you will find a light in your soul to forgive me for all I've said and done, to forget the tragedy and move on, with me. 

I hope and pray when you're ready to move on, it will be with me. I cannot imagine my world without you in it, next to me and loving me. I cannot imagine living everyday without knowing that you'll always be there, as my other half, my better half. 

You're entirely justified to feel and react the way you do, I accept that. And I understand that I may never win you back. But I believe there is a chance for us. There is always a chance, there is always a place to start anew, to build again and to leave the past behind a door we will never see again. 

Please forgive me. I love you, and I want you back.
