Stereophonics is playing tonight in KL for the very first time and...excuse me for a second *screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams*
Just like when Placebo was here, another of my favourite bands are playing in town one month after the other. I hope I'll get a nice surprise every month!
Let's see, the first ever Stereophonics song I heard was Mr Writer and I fell in love immediately with that voice. Well obviously being me, I don't read up on music and bands I like, I just like to listen to them. Makes me really happy. Makes me feel a lot of things. Anyway, I didn't know there's a term for it - whiskey vocals.
I mean, I'm no fan of whiskey but whiskey vocals are sexy. Ask any woman, my sister even. She has the biggest crush on Kelly Jones, sad she couldn't make it to the show tonight. Damn college and their stupid rules!
I took a day off today from work, just so any last minute work won't spill over and make me miss or late for the show. And my boss asked before he signed my leave, so what's the reason? Another concert? I was like nooooo...I can't say. I mean it's none of his business innit? I asked well in advance before any shoots were scheduled for today.
We settled for a visit to the gynae as the reason. The things I do for Kelly Jones, hahaha. Check him out and dare disagree his voice is not sexy - I'll kill you.
